What is a seasonal tasting menu I hear you ask? For Ryan Flaherty (ex Fat Duck, El Bulli and Estelle) of Richmond restaurant, Mister Jennings it is a series of dishes that reflect the best local ingredients of the season, executed in a perfect sequence that maximizes taste and pleasure for the diner. Portions should be not too large and not too small so that the diner is left feeling satisfied but not stuffed at the end of the meal.
Flaherty is well-known for delivering such an experience to diners who visit his intimate Bridge Road venue, but his all-time favourite pass-time is hosting guests at his 6-seater Kitchen Table (conveniently located right in front of his kitchen).
In a series of intimate masterclass events (open to just 6 people per session) Ryan will demonstrate how to prepare 5 of the carefully crafted dishes on his tasting menu. Ryan’s signature dishes include frozen kangaroo with wasabi and nashi, puffed veal tendons with miso cream along with many more. Each dish will be matched with a glass of wine hand-picked by Ryan himself.
Masterclass Includes: 5 courses demonstratied and served by Ryan himself matched with complementary wines.
